Vitamin A: a powerful vitamin for the body

Do you know how vital vitamin A is for the body? In this article I’ll be going over the benefits of vitamin A, how to get some vitamin A in the body without pills or supplements, and how to know if you have a vitamin a deficiency.

The plus side to Vitamin A

Well, it’s a vitamin so it’s obviously going to be good for you. People say there are two types of vitamin A, the one found in dairy and meat products, (which will call A1) and the one found in plant-based food (which will call A2). I’ll be focusing on A2 because fruits and veggies are what I center on. the difference between A1 and 2 is simply where you get the vitamin from. Vitamin A makes sure the body is functioning like making sure the digestive system is working properly. In addition, it helps with eyesight in general and maintaining good eyesight, development, and growth.

                 Where to find it

For Vitamin A1, you can find that in most meat and dairy products, but in plants, you'll find it in orange and green veggies like:

Carrots
Orange squash

Spinach
broccoli
Collard greens

Not always does the fruit or veggie have to be that color. Things like Watermelon and Black-eyed peas are also a source of vitamin A.

Dry skin
Dry hair
Dry eyes
Bad eyesight at night

What can you do to stop this!?
