Greetings my fellow Steemians,
I really wish that everyone is still alive and healthy thanks to the kindness of the All-Powerful God. He blessed us with life and wonderful health, and we are grateful for that. Since I enjoy reading your thoughtful and well-written comments, I'm happy to make this essay available to all of you. It's an overview of what I did on Friday.
Just as usual I always do and due to the activities I had, I woke up as early as 5:00AM and made sure all my usual responsibilities were fulfilled before I proceeded to any other. After I had finished carrying out my regular morning duties, my next schedule was to prepare liquid soap to be used in the house.
Liquid soap preparation is also one of the domestic chores that requires a lot of strength and energy. The ingredients used include, liquid base, thickener, colour, flavor, table salt, ordinary water, and amongst others. Firstly, I poured the liquid base into a basin and added two sachets of table salt then I stirred for about 15 minutes then I added a cup full of water to it and stirred for another 10 minutes. I added the next supplements and continued with the stirring (in one direction), for which after every five minutes I added and certain volume of water. I added the water which was accompanied by consistent stirring, until the basin was full and I finally added the colour, bringing the first phase of the preparation to an end.

The flavor to give it a nice scent was the added the following day and the soap poured into containers. My part of the presentation was done for that day so I went inside and ironed my clothes, too my bath, and set off for work. On my way to work, I bought breakfast from the roadside so that I could get some amount of energy before I start work for the day.

After I had finished taking my breakfast, I then entered the lab and performed my usual morning activities such as disinfection of work surfaces and working apparatus, including dusting of machines. When I was done with that, I started drying media plates to be used for subculturing of a specific microorganism to be used the following for DNA quantification. The IDs to be used were given to me to labeled the dried ones with those IDs (each ID for a plate).
When they were done with the plating, I packed them into a container and incubated them in an incubator to be observed the following day. The next activity i performed there was to assist in the extraction of DNA of the previous day’s subcultures. My role there was labeling of tubes, vortexing of samples, and recording of results.
DNA extraction
Due to the fact that we were had a scheduled a meeting, we were not able to quantify the obtained DNAs so we stored them in freezer as preservation to be analyzed the following day and we departed to the venue of the meeting.
At the meeting
The meeting came to an end after we had taken our refreshment, which was around 6:53PM bringing my activities for that day to end.
