THE DIARY GAME: WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 01, 2023 (SEARCHING FOR MY GOAT, GOING FOR A PARCEL, AND LAB WORK)

Greetings, fellow Steemians!

I sincerely hope and pray that everyone is alive and well by the mercy of the Almighty God. He gave us life and excellent health, and we are appreciative of that. I'm glad to make this article available to you all since I like reading your well-written and intelligent comments. It serves as a summary of my Wednesday activities.

I got up as usual, did my tasks around the house as usual. These tasks include watering my garden, feeding my animals, and ironing my clothes. However, on this particular day, I had to look for one of my animals who had escaped the previous evening, which required me to rise earlier than usual. I spent more than 40 minutes looking for this goat until I finally discovered it, but since I was the only one looking for it, I had to give it a hard chase, but it managed to get away.

I was very tired so I had to allow it and return home so that I could prepare for work. When I got home, I took my bath and breakfast and then dressed up for work. On my way to work I had a call from my boss, nothing bad though, she only instructed me to the Lorry station to receive a parcel for her which I obeyed and did as she instructed after which I then chattered a tricycle and headed to work place.

When I got there at around 8:17AM, I started my usual morning routine, which involved cleaning the workspace and any equipment, drying the media, and labeling them before preparing the area for work to start. My supervisor and her coworkers arrived a short while later after I had completed setting up the area for everything to start, so we started working. About 60 samples were plated as the initial step of the process, so I incubated them so they could be seen in two days. Previously plated samples were brought out to be examined after that, and those that had yielded promising results were employed for DNA extraction. In order to determine whether plates passed the confirmatory rest and could be used for DNA extraction, the plates that showed growth were physically examined, isolated, and used for the procedure. Every procedure was successfully carried out, and which our DNA samples were obtained. The concentration of every sample was recorded by my self, after which I arranged them in a box and stored in a freezer.

My activities at work came to a close with this final lab assignment, so I logged out and left for home. After returning home, I took a bath, ate some food, and then took some time to relax. This brought my day's activities to a close, and I decided to call it a day.
