💪 Week 1 : Lifft 4 Chest/Triceps LIIFT 50/50 Workout💪
Thats right I choose Lifft 4 as my new program to continue my covid recovery. Only 4 days a week so fits into my schedule perfectly! Today was Chest /Triceps Day . Was a hard one, but I kinda like the hard work. Today was a tough weight lifting day as you will see with the gifs below. Also, my nemesis push ups, was hard but I pushed through. You definitely feel this workout in the upper body, but I pushed through it! There are 3 blocks of weightlifting, one block of hiit and one block of core moves. Even though I love strength training, I still find it quite challenging!
🏋️♀️ Block 1: Chest Press and Skull Crushers! I Got This!🏋️♀️
Why I love Chest Press and Skull Crushers?
If you couldn’t tell, doing chest press and skull Crushers moves makes me happy. Did 5 pounds on the chest press and skull crushers did 5 pounds on that move felt brave with skull crushers but quickly realized could’t do 8 pounds so had to go down to 5 pounds. Always doing these moves makes me feel strong. After finishing these moves I feel I can take on the world. Of course I feel that way when I do most weight lifting moves! Even though they are quite challenging! Now onto Block 2!
Block 2 : Chest Fly and Tricep Press

Well definitely gonna feel this tomorrow lol Since I’m doing 3 rounds of this move I decided to do just 5 pounds with these moves. I am glad I only did 5 pounds, because I struggle with that, so was a good weight choice!
Block 3: Rotating Press and Tricep Push-Up
Rotating Press and Tricep Push up My Nemesis!
Rotating press wasn’t too bad it was the tricep push-ups that got me.Push-ups are one of my biggest weaknesses. Tricep push ups are even worse for me than regualr push ups, not sure why but I have always struggle with it. However, I pushed through and got them done!
Block 4: HIIT Time : Soccer Runs, Mountain Climbers and Catcher Burpees
Soccer Runs, Mountain Climbers and Catchers Oh My!
For the HIIT round I have 3 moves you have 3 rounds. The first move is Soccer Runs I have to do this for 60 seconds. This is a weird version of high knees was a struggle but I got through it. Then the 2nd move is Mountain Climbers which you do for 45 seconds! Another hard one had to do it at a slower pace but I finish it. Now off to do the 3rd move . . . . .
Yup I got to do this lovely move after those 2 hard ones. After 3 rounds of this I definitely feel it! It’s actually called a catcher but reminds me of a burpee so I call it a catcher burpee lol Like a burpee you jump into plank , when you jump up you go up in a squat position. It’s rough but I finished it. These 3 rounds were tough but proud of myself of finishing it!
Block 5: Core Time!
Rope Climb and Windshied Wipers, yup core moves oh dear . . .
The one thing I have said before wasn’t sure about the core moves but I’m going to try it, even though not in an way trying to get abs. But I am wllling to do the program the best I can. I struggle with these moves,but did what my best and in the end thats all that matters.

Well definitley challenging but I love the weightlifting. Probably my one of favorite programs to do so far.Even though you do 30 reps total for each weightlifting move, once you complete all the rounds. It's hard work but fun! The hiit is probably what I struggle with the most. The core moves are challenging but I knew once I got through the core version it was all over. I do wonder how sore I be tomorrow , looking forward to it lol
