Crossfit corresponds to a training / fitness methodology that works with functional movements, constantly varied and of high intensity.
The objective is the acquisition of a broad, general and inclusive physical conditioning, through a core strength training and conditioning program (cardiovascular and respiratory resistance, muscular resistance, speed, agility, strength, flexibility, power, coordination, balance and accuracy). All of this in order to prepare for the unknown, as well as for the unknown.
The training is always accompanied by a professional and starts with a dynamic warm-up and general mobility, followed by a part of strength or specific technique for the task that follows in the training, the so-called “workout of the day” (WOD) . Each training has a duration of approximately 60 minutes and with a maximum number of students per class.
Every day the WOD is different and the week is previously planned by the Technical Director, with the aim of working on the different principles of the CrossFit modality.
In a CrossFit workout you will not find typical gym machines, but an open space with kettlebells, Olympic bars, bumpers, medicine balls, rings, fixed bars, ropes, tires, boxes, among others, and a space for all type of movements with body weight.
