This is a collage that I made with the help of the app Nichi. I've been watching videos by a creator on YouTube named Teal Swan. Her video on fragmentation is an eye-opener.

I took the quote "from the moment of trauma there is a split between the vulnerable and protector self" and made a collage. Most people identify with the protector self. The protector self could be angry, in denial or a defensive part of us who doesn't want to experience the pain from the trauma.

We all experience some form of trauma. It doesn't have to be something major, such as war or sexual assault. It could be abandonment, neglect, or any event where a resolution was not met. If we all experience trauma then we are all fragmented.

Fragmentation is a complex process that I cannot explain in a few sentences, so I suggest looking up the video "Fragmentation the Worldwide Disease" on Youtube.
