Hello people. I came across this community and saw people sharing their views and helping out other people. I saw people posting about pets. So its not possible for me to be far away from a place where pets are being discussed, especially cats. So I am about to write this article on how to take care of a PREGNANT CAT
First of all if you don't want your cat to breed. Get her spayed. Take her to a good veterinarian and get her spayed.

- VETERINARY CARE OF YOUR CAT
If you suspect your cat is pregnant, the first thing you should do is to take her to a vet.
If your vet declares her pregnant then on her 55th day of pregnancy take her to the vet again and take an xray. This will give you a good idea of how many beautiful kittens are about to bless you.
Usually vaccinations are not recommended during pregnancy because they might affect the fetus
45 DAYS PREGNANT
2)FEEDING AND TAKING CARE
Your pregnant cat should be fed top notch food at regular intervals. Make sure she doesn't starve or you don't over feed her as well. As for there are three things I feed my pregnant cat
- kitty kat cat food
- boiled chicken
- milk cream.
This combination works best for my cat and till now her kittens have been healthy and active
DOs:
1)Feed your cat food which is good in nutritional value.
2)Keep her hydrated
3)Feed her at regular intervals
DONTs:
- do not overfeed your cat as she might become overweight and it might cause issues during her labour and pregnancy.
- do not starve her.
MILK CREAM
- GIVING HER A SAFE PLACE
During the end days of pregnancy your cat will look around the house in search of a safe place where she can give birth. Get her a quiet, safe and a distant place where she can give birth. Provide her with warm clothes and cover her. Cats love privacy . Its even possible that she might not like the place you offered her so give her time to choose a place she wants to. Give her maximum comfort
4)AT THE TIME OF BIRTH
When she has chosen a safe place to give birth, you leave her alone. Cats DO NOT LIKE HUMAN INTERVENTION. However you may need to help if she's in distress, keep checking on regular intervals but don't be too nosy.
If she's having contractions and not giving birth then contact your vet for advice. Also if the baby is in the canal and is not able to come out, contact your vet straight away.
Once all the babies are born safely, DO NIT SEPARATE the mom and her kittens for 3-4 days. This part is very important. Give your cat adequate amount of food and water with perfect nutritional balance as she just gave birth and is lactating. Once your cat is comfortable coming out of the place she gave birth you can touch the kittens as well. But not before a week
Hope this helps you people. Also if there are any questions feel free to ask me. Do give your reviews if this helped
