It is one of the best romantic movie I have ever seen. Two person met in a airport to go to their destinations. But fate made themselves a couple during their devastating journey. Helping with one another, they had made themselves to get out from the river of death.

The Mountain Between Us is romance survival adventure film and stars Idris Elba and Kate Winslet as a surgeon and a journalist, respectively, who survive a plane crash, with a dog, and are stranded in High Uintas Wilderness with injuries and harsh weather conditions. Not easy to guess till the very end, though you may wish for your own finale, depending upon the social background you hail from. This is one of the rare movies that I have seen in recent times and I liked it very much.

Contrary to the general reviews, i thoroughly enjoyed the film and had a good time watching it. The film's shift from adventure story to romantic melodrama feels very natural. Kate Winslet is absolutely ravishing in the film and Elba does a fine job like always.

I loved this movie. Both actors were great, but Kate Winslet's performance was flawless and natural. I felt as if I was right there with her all the way. I felt the depth of their love which reminded me of my parents. Without him, she would have died on the mountain and without her, he would have died just as they were nearing civilization. The scenery of the Canadian Rockies was beautiful. The clever dog helped to ground the story.

The Mountain Between Us' is not a non-stop action flick, nor is an epic drama laden with existentialist baggage. Categorically, this picture ticks a lot of boxes – disaster, adventure, drama, romance – which, arguably, comes off somewhat clunky and yet remains an altogether enjoyable piece of cinematography.

On screen, the duo elicits an ambiguous reflexive response adding another layer of complexity to this screenplay. Character development throughout their saga organically reveals a variety of nuanced (lizard brain) perspectives as well as numerous other enigmatic and wholly unexpected complexities beyond the scope of resolving their immediate event based trauma/stress/peril.

I really love this movie because I needed to think more of it to really understand what it really is so loved it like the First time Alex(Kate Winslet) kissed Ben(Idris Elba) I thought that she is engaged yet she still went for the kiss and everything else progressed and it is as though she really did not care as long as she was happy and in other circumstances if Alex did not have that courage Ben would not have had it in him for the moment and the movie would not have progressed as it did when it happened meaning that Alex would not have tried to ring Ben up and if she did Ben would pick up because in some way he new that he did not have anything with Alex unless that had happened thus the ending would have been changed. Those are my thoughts on the movie either way I really loved it and this shows me in a way different types of human behavior may affect other types positively in terms of love.

Hope you will enjoy the romantic movie. I suggest you to watch it with your loving wife or girlfriend.
