Adulthood would always come whether you are prepared for it or not. And when it does come, it comes with its baggage (smiles), no matter how prepared you are for adulthood you would sometimes it overwhelming especially at the early stage.
As a child/teen you had a more care-free life, your responsibilities basically was house chores and to most families coming home with good if not excellent grades from school (although there are very few exceptional cases), now as an adult your responsibilities grows, parents to take care of, younger siblings who look up to, pressure from work place to meet up daily task, societal responsibilities and the head of all bills to pay and very one bit of these can be quite demanding and it has gotten more burdensome with our today’s societal pressure

Society has a way hiding that this transition process could be sometimes overwhelming and even scary (or probably I was blind to it as a teen as most teens are), but in all adulthood is what everyone will eventually grow into (experience) prepared or not.
One of the things I realized is that adulthood has more responsibilities than freedom. As a teen I thought probably when I become an adult, I would have all the freedom to do whatever in the world I wanted but reality showed me otherwise. Yes! As an adult I have the freedom but responsibilities has taught me that freedom should be used judiciously.

Adulthood is not necessarily a matter of age but responsibilities. Whether you wanna take up the responsibilities that comes with it is your decision to make but it’s gonna knock on your door regardless.
What do you do when this transition period seems overwhelming and scary? (I would love to hear yours in the comment section, someone could learn from your experience).
Well for me, different things work for me at different times, I either talk to a friend, read about people who are successful in a certain area that seems to overwhelm me at that point or simply writing down the things that are overwhelming me and think in terms of solutions.

But in all do not let society pressure you, some of the challenges we think we have is actually non-existent but societal pressure. It’s not easy though but you need to shutout societal pressure and focus on becoming a better you.
