In 2019 I've tried to start my photography career as a amateur photographer. I bought my first camera and started capturing photos. I was capturing more and more as I clicked on my phone. Later I realize that I was a fool but it absolutely fine because I've learned from my mistake.

I need to upload photos in photo selling sites and most of my clicks were rejected for missing focus. It was probably one percent selected photo and 99 percent were rejected and it made me feel demotivated to photography.

Here I had a big mistake and that was I focused on quantity instead quality. Quality is more important not only about capturing photos but also in every sphere in our life. We mostly focus on quantity and later we realize that we were fool.

Let me talk about some examples from our real life. We women love to have discount when we go for shopping and we become more happy when someone offers us buy one get one free. We feel excited because we going to get some extra. But its hardly possible when we are getting extra that product is full of quality. I'm not telling all extra or free offers are useless as sometimes businessmen offer extra for their publicity and also to be popular. But we still should focus on quality not quantity.

To get things full of quality we need to be a good quality checker. And we should practice this to choose things wisely. Let's come back to my photography story. Now I go for photography and click five to ten photos but I assure myself that these five to ten photos have good quality and didn't missed out the focus. Now most of my photos selected by stock sites and also buyers buy them from my portfolio. It feels really good when my quality appreciated by others.

We can follow this in every phase in life. Such as I'm writing this blog with a image which is relevant with this topic. I could use more than one photos and sometimes I use too to make the blog more attractive. But if I focus on quality then only a image can be enough for my quality blog.

When I was a student of school, my classmates during the exam took extra sheets to write more and more and I felt down that I only took one or two extra sheets but when the result come I got good marks than them. They believes the more they write the more they can get good marks from the teachers but this is not true, we need to write as much we have asked in the question paper. If question paper asked me - what's your name? I'll reply my name not my parents name and their job right?

At the beginning its not possible to be an expert in quality checking. Our mistakes and experiences will help us to learn more about it. So take your time and never run after quantity before assuring the quality. Good luck!
