Fetters of irons,
Shades of glory;
Then the inevitable...almost!
Taking evil off the table;
a feat sponsored
By loud blood-crying spree and all.
Just yesterday i was...
Stranded and strained;
Battered and bruised.
Darkness lingered.
Life stone cold and lonely;
Echoes of desolate
Overwhelming like a deluge,
Sauced with betrayal!
This sorry desert of Neverland i was
When He walked across;
Right where my fortress had fallen.
I am LOVE, He said,
His voice like a stream running
Over smooth stones.
