This was unexpected....
On Sunday, after helping a friend process some meat chickens, she gifted us her quail supply. This was not expected. We weren't really even in the market for quail, but when an opportunity like this presents itself, we'll receive the blessing. Since they are about nine weeks old right now, they are breeding and laying, and we'll be hatching some out too (at least that's the plan). For now, some of these delicious little eggs will be joining us for dinner too! Check them out.
