REAL BEEF JERKY FROM OUR OWN HOME-RAISED COW

I did not think this day would come so soon.

We had dreams of a milk cow, but she treated me like a rodeo clown. I tried and tried to befriend her, but she had no desire to play nice with me. Thankfully, she got bred and blessed us with a little heifer, but then she did not want to take care of her calf. That little calf is now a bottle baby for us, and she will be our next attempt at getting a milk cow. Her mom, though, has officially went to freezer camp. This beef jerky is bittersweet, but we will enjoy all that went into it.
