Yet another meal out of our Thanksgiving turkey!
Mama-Pepper is wise enough not to let things go to waste. After we enjoyed a couple of meals out of the massive turkey that our friends raised, we were left with a carcass. Mama decided it was soup time and soon she was boiling that carcass, and some of the Little-Peppers were cutting up potatoes and carrots. I grabbed some Swiss Chard, Egyptian Walking Onions, and Wild Garlic Greens from the garden, and Pinkie-Pepper started making dumplings. It's so cool to see so many people in our family pitch in on tasks like this, and when the whole thing comes together, it's delicious! Below are mostly dumpling making photos.
