I only wish I had started this earlier: Mono-Mealing!

I don’t even remember when I began this but now it feels like the most natural thing - eating only one fruit at a time without mixing it, also called mono-mealing.

There are some powerful benefits of this way of enjoying a meal such as...

  • better digestion and absorption
  • easier to feel satiated and avoid over eating
  • less preparation needed
  • stronger connection to our food

You might wonder - isn’t that pretty boring? Just pineapple, just papaya, just peaches, just mango, just grapes. When you are used to colourful fruit mixtures, it might seem very different first but soon your taste buds will explore the rich flavour nuances that can be hidden in just one fruit.

The key to falling in love with this way of eating is high quality fruits. Fresh, ripe, preferable local and organic is not only a healthier choice but also so much more delicious.

➡️ Are you already familiar with mono-mealing? Which fruits do you like to eat just by themselves? 🍉🍌🍑🥝🍇🍍
