Thank you for showing interest in my work. I believe art is a form of expressing one’s feelings and their immediate environment.
Most of the times, artist tend to reflect their experience or emotions in their works without their conscious consideration and that might have been the case with some of my work, although not necessarily mean that the artist is unhappy but could also just be a reflection of the idea they’re trying to pass which in my own case is a strong and resilient African woman coupled with their sense of beauty.
I haven’t really noticed that point until you made mention of it. I do have works with smiling women that I’m yet to share, rest assured that I’ll tag you when creating the my next post.
