AFRICAN WOMAN - THE PAINTING

in hive-120695 •  2 months ago

Hi guys,

Here’s a painted version of my previous sketch on the “African Woman” reflecting the symbol of resilience, strength, and beauty. Despite facing numerous challenges and obstacles, she continues to thrive and make significant contributions to her community and the world at large.

They have historically faced numerous challenges, including poverty, inequality, and violence, yet they continue to overcome these obstacles and thrive. This resilience is rooted in their strong community ties and family bonds, which provide them with a sense of belonging and support.

Despite these many strengths and achievements, African women still face numerous challenges and obstacles. They continue to face discrimination and inequality, and are often denied access to education, healthcare, and economic opportunities. However, despite these challenges, African women remain a powerful force for change and development in their communities and the world at large.

In conclusion, the African woman is a complex and multifaceted individual, full of strength, resilience, and beauty. Her cultural diversity, personal strengths, and economic and social contributions make her a vital part of her community and the world at large. As we move forward, it is essential that we recognize and celebrate the achievements of African women, and work to address the challenges and obstacles that they continue to face.

Gran trabajo

Thank you so much for your kind words about the tribute to the African woman! I'm glad you appreciated the complementary tones in the hat and background - I chose a palette of earthy browns and blues to reflect the richness and depth of African culture. The piece is actually 28 inches by 36 inches, created with acrylic paint on canvas. I'm thrilled that you were able to read my inspiration and reflections in the artwork!

I looked at your photos so the size can be noticed. It's a good plus. Other info you can add.
I like your good commenting.

@ wakeupkitty

Thank you so much! I'm glad you found the photos helpful for scale. I'll definitely add more details to give a better understanding. Appreciate your kind words!

Greetings, I like your work, how you approached this topic, this drawing, how you painted it. I mean, it impacts me. Thank you for your work.

Thank you so much for your kind words! I'm thrilled to hear that my work has made an impact on you. That truly means the world to me. I'm grateful for your appreciation and support

@wakeupkitty appreciations like this fuels my creativity and inspires me to keep creating! really keeps me going

Thank you @newton666

I can imagine @newton666 is more familiar with the art you show. It's a bit in between two styles which makes it unique. What I like (thought about it) is that at fist glance we all see something different (or is this my brain "damage"?). If I look again I see different angles. For sure you have your own style. I also like that you show the type of paper you use. With that you proof art can be created at everything. 🍀♥️

I love that you've taken the time to really look at my artwork and appreciate its unique qualities. You're right, I do try to create pieces that can be interpreted in different ways, and I'm thrilled that you've had that experience. And yes, I'm a big believer that art can be created on any surface, and I love experimenting with different papers and textures
This particular one was actually created on a canvas using acrylic paint.
