Hi guys, how are you doing today.
Decided to create a piece towards a poem I wrote sometime last year and I’m so happy to share this with you all and hear your thoughts about it.
MOTHERHOOD
In the quiet of dawn’s gentle light,
A mother cradles her child so tight.
Weary hands, yet tender and strong,
Rock the infant all night long.
Her face, a map of stories told,
Of sacrifice and love, pure and bold.
Though tired, her spirit stands tall,
For her child, she’d give it all.
The morning’s glow, a beacon of hope,
Guiding her through life’s winding slope.
In every touch, a promise deep,
A bond unbroken, theirs to keep.
Through trials faced, through joy and strife,
She weaves her love into their life.
A mother’s heart, steadfast and true,
A timeless song of love, ever new.
PROCESS
Creating this piece, i was a little conflicted as to which medium to use until I finally decided to use the ballpoint pen on catridge paper.
Kindly share your thoughts as comments below

Hola, @krucekoncept
Últimamente las piezas que te he visto me parecen más un sketch, como inacabadas. No terminan de impactarme, es mi opinión, no la verdad.

Hey @joslud, appreciate your honest feedback!
I understand where you're coming from, and I'm actually experimenting with a more minimalist approach in my recent pieces. It's a deliberate choice to strip away some of the details and focus on the essence of the artwork.
Would love to hear more about what specifically is missing for you in these pieces.

Hi, @krucekoncept
When I see a piece of art, I react instinctively, something inside me says "I like it", "I don't like it" or "What is this?!
When I see two of your last posts, I reacted with: "What is this?!
It's not just about looking for an explanation, but about the impression it makes on me, and then going to analyze it.
When I go into the details, that first impression is reinforced, and it was: something is not right?
I notice the handling of perspective, the anatomical proportions, she seems to have only one breast, her left arm seems deformed, the presence of the lines of the sketch that I don't see integrated; details that together lead me to think more than enjoy the piece.
But it's just my impression, I value your goal of innovating and finding the essence of the things that inspire you.

Hi @joslud
Just like my recent reply to @cicisaja
I personally believe art is best interpreted individually without the subjected meaning or presentation the artist may have given the artwork.
Which you have successfully done so yourself, it may seem provocative to one and appealing to another, it’s just a matter of preference and in this case there are certain things you pointed out like “she seems to have only one breast”
Which is essentially because the other breast is still under the attire the figure is putting on.
Aside that every other aspect of the art that may seem incomplete is a sole play of my artistic freedom, the will to distort, subtract and add to the art as I wish. My interpretation of art in the piece is to be as minimal and free as i can be with it which I have successfully achieved.
Thank you for taking your time to analyze and comment on my art

Oohh no @krucekoncept 😥 the baby is going to slip away from the mother's hand... 🫣 It's a wrong position to breastfeed baby like that😲 is she a first time mother?
