Hi @tezzmax here’s my entry for the scribble lips contest.
Working on this brought back good old memories in my early art career stage when I’ll always run to YouTube to learn how to draw different features of the face. I’ll be very happy each time i successfully draw a feature right.

For my study, I decided to go with the first reference picture I could find that attracted my attention which was the female melanin black lips.
These lips, often adorned with deep, rich hues ranging from soft charcoal to deep ebony, are a testament to the diversity and beauty of melanin.
According to research, Beyond aesthetics, melanin-rich lips are a reminder of the incredible adaptability of melanin, which not only enhances their beauty but also provides protection against environmental factors like UV radiation.
