I hope you all are observing a very lovely and interesting holiday? Well, I am trying my best to gift myself some quality time.
Our scribble lessons still continues with the exploration of the human body parts. In our last lesson we explored the human ear and we got to see lots of beautiful entries but then I trust us to come out even stronger this time around as we'll be exploring one of the most attractive parts of the human body which is the LIPS.
THE LESSON!
I understand that the artistic study of the human body parts is somewhat quite tricky but trust me, it's really fun and you only get better at it as you keep practicing it.
For my owe study, I decided to go with an irregular angle or view of the lips, I not know expect anyone to replicate nor imitate what I had created, I just need you all to follow the guidelines from the previous lessons and create your scribbled lips in such a way that an elementary school kid can easily recognize it as a human lips.
THE CONTEST!
I think this one should be even more fun....
Pick a picture of a human lips, make a very careful sketch of the shape first, then gradually develop the shading with your scribbles until you've finally achieved your middle tones and then your darkest tones where needed.

This is my second attempt at scribble art. I think it's an interesting drawing technique, and I really enjoy it. I will definitely keep learning it so that one day I can create a full artwork using this technique.

I started with lesson one but find it hard because I have something else in mind but I can see the beauty of it. Still, I have a hard time and try it in different ways. I try to sketch also to distract my brain from what I have in mind which isn't easy . Yesterday I did the egg and apple again but I believe I can no longer scribble them. I must say having a photo for an example doesn't make it any easier either. I like you added a beard. Perhaps at the end of the year I am ready to go unless I give up on it.
Btw I am nearly out of pens so I believe I will use a pencil since at lesson 1 we agreed it doesn't matter with what we draw and I have more pencils than pens.. or I do it with my phone and thumb again I still like my red apple. I am looking forward to your end of 2025 piece of art!

I started with pencil took a photo.
I worked the scribbling over the pencil sketch with pen (biro). Then to tidy up the drawing I used a rubber to get rid of the black pencil = old school. I took a photo
I put the two photos onto a google docs page and adjusted the size so that they were around the same size.
The different 'colour' paper is due to the lighting (yellow ! and lighter one are the same). I actually did the drawing on a scrap piece of white office paper.
It's okay if the drawing was not suitable ! I don't mind. It was an invitation to draw and I accepted it XX
