God Day Friends, 🤗

For some weeks now, I haven't had the creative juice to approach any of my canvas and that has kept me so worried but the beautiful thing is that I still remain conscious of myself as an artist and that simply means me thinking through the whole of the situations and birthing stories in an artistic manner out of the whole situation.

I'm gradually getting my creative juice back and that means me creating more canvas pieces!

I'm sure I understand. Sometimes creativity seems to slip away, inspiration fails. I'm encouraged to see that your willpower won.

I like the framing of the piece and the near-high angle, which gives it an awkward position. The subject is boxed in against the right edge and throws his gaze and arms into the past. What is he after?

Dodging the heavy light and yet trying to reach something (a reflex move for escape).

Or he's dancing...

Nah... He's not dancing.

Congratulations!

It sounds as if you feel forced to produce like a machine. You are not a printer. Why not do something else for a change?

Already made something really ugly?
Tried to draw a 'feeling'?
Painted with your fingers? A sponge, blindfolded?
Did you doodle?

In as much as I love to be so free with my art pieces, I also love to be in con trio of not just the physical and aesthetic finising of the piece but the story too.

In my experience with literature, my other muse. All art begins when you forget the rules and all the constraints and start creating art, drawing on all the knowledge you have acquired about art. Without thinking about what people might say, whether it will sell or be exhibited in a museum. Because art is priceless. You can sell it or not. A generation may not understand your art, but it can endure and transcend the spaces it was created in.
I see that you paint standing up (that's what I perceive). Isn't it uncomfortable?
Your style shows your mastery.
When you let go of those superfluous constraints on art, it grows wings.
I admire what you paint with affection. Keep drawing doodles, which is your art.

Thanks for your kind words, yeah, I have to stand to draw or paint sometimes cause my work board is pretty big. I don't care too much about all the rules but somehow they still get to find their ways into my creations.
