It another day of the week, and guess what? I am here again to participate in this interesting contest hosted by our Admin ma'am.

I have always enjoyed participating in all her contests as her contests are educative and interesting.

This week contest is centred on fame and name and trust me when I say you wouldn't want to miss this contest.

WHICH DO YOU VALUE MORE: NAME OR FAME(CHOOSE ANYONE) AND DESCRIBE THE REASON BEHIND YOUR CHOICE

This question can be very trickish as one would want both if possible.

However, if I am to choose one, I would pick name over fame and this is because name would serve as a representation of my identity, my reputation and my values which are a very a important factor of my professional and personal life.

The foundation of a good name are integrity, trust, respect and these are things that can survive a lifetime.

While fame on the other hand might be fleeting but it is usually short-lived, as it often comes and go, unlike name which lifespan is forever.

Also fame doesn't serve as a representation of a person's true character, as it is superficial.

WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN NAME AND FAME? DESCRIBE.

There are several differences between name and fame and I'll be explaining them below.

• Name can be referred to the character, reputation and identity of an individual while fame is often known to be a widespread recognition of a person, that is, what the public knows a person to be, not who he really is.

• Name also can be said to be a representation of the values, Actions and beliefs a person holds, that is, what a person hold as right and wrong, how he treats people behind camera etc. While fame is said to be a representation of a person's notable achievements, celebrity status and wealth.

• Also name can be said to be earned through a person's professional and personal achievement, his integrity and consistency as he works hard. While fame is gotten from external validation, not who a person really is.

Personally, I think that name and fame are essential in our lives although they have different purposes depending on the individual being checked.

Name which can be seen to be a person's reputation, identity and character are essential because of the role it plays in reflecting a person's beliefs, values and actions.

Another reason it is essential is that it acts as a reflection of a person's professional and personal relationship.

Fame (widespread recognition) is also essential to our lives because we can be an inspiration to others, and a role model to help them live their lives.

Fame and name is not something that can be achieved in a day, it is something that can be achieved overtime through hardwork and consistency.

NAME:

• By developing high integrity and ethics
• By being hardworking and dedicated
