What is your preference went to the theatre or enjoying OTT platforms? Justify your selection.

I like going to a theatre more than streaming platforms because the reasons why I cherish theatre more than OTT platforms is I enjoy how I interact with it from dressing up and going to the theatre to the feeling of being surrounded by the live action on the stage The atmosphere of the theatre is rather incomparable with anything you feel at home and besides, people are able to experience a live performance which gives them a better chance to feel real connection with the actors and the play itself.

In addition, going to the theatre benefits arts and other communities which I consider to be important, When I buy tickets and watch live shows I am creating job opportunities for the artists and keeping the arts alive and while OTT platforms offer convenience and a wide variety of content, nothing quite compares to the magic of experiencing a live performance in a theatre.

The best web series or movie you enjoyed as of now. Share something behind your love for the same.

Among all the Nigerian movies that I have seen, I was enamoured with “A Tribe Called Judah. ” This movie impressed me with outstanding acting and a stunning story that insights into Nigerian traditions. How could I possibly describe my feeling about the movie that has concentrated on the themes of family, traditions and faith? Simply, it was a kind of television that I will never forget.

The true to life portrayal of the characters and the artistic presentation of Nigeria culture depicted in the movie has in a very special way touch the spirit and the heart in me inseparable from me in life ‘A Tribe Called Judah’ is not just a movie is a motion picture what is most delightful about Nigerians.

Last time, when did you visit the theatre to watch a movie? Share your experience!

I recall going to the theatre on the 18 / 02 / 2024 to watch a movie that was a thoroughly inspiring one. People were so enthusiastic to see the movie and I had to take my sit to watch the movie with other film lovers. Another thing that makes me prefer watching a movie at theatre is the feeling when you are inside the theatre with other people, and you can see people’s reactions and emotions in real time.

It was great to be able to watch on the big screen rather than on a laptop, the good quality and surround sound made everything perfect and the atmosphere of being with several people makes it even better. After the show, one can only applaud with laughter, loud gasps and general enjoyment, and it makes me value the opportunity to watch movies in the theatre even more.
