Kuakata : In Search of the Ocean Daughter

I hope everyone is doing well. I'm well too. Recently I went to Kuakata on tour from Discipline. We stayed there for two days and had a great time. And brought up many new memories. I will cherish that memory today.

Bangladesh is a country full of natural beauty. Kuakata is one of them. It is located in the Patuakhali district. The distance from Khulna to Patuakhali is about 128 km.

Kuakata is named after “Sagor Konnya”. That means the daughter of sea. This is how nature has revealed its immense beauty to us. Only sunrise and sunset can be fully seen from this place on earth. Here the sea and the water meet on the horizon. Its pristine natural scenery.

Kuakata has some special places to visit. Such as Jaubon, Eco park, Fatrar chor, lebur chor etc. People go here to enjoy the natural scenery. They are more frequent during winter. We went to the island of lemon char, red crab among them. We also ate many kinds of fish there such as coral fish fry, crab fry, datne fish fry etc.

We went to Kuakata and did not see the sunrise and sunset. Then the tour will remain incomplete. It was the sunrise scenery. So, we went to see the sunrise at 5 am. Or there is a solar eclipse at the interval of a few moments. Again the sunset is like that.

It was the sunset scenery. We all watched the sunrise and sunset together. That scene is strangely beautiful. And in the evening I was lost when I heard the roar of the sea during the tide. This roar is like the sea's own language. As if the ocean expresses its thoughts in this way. Seeing this scene does not get tiring. Rather than intending to stay. It seems that nature has been seen up close. That scene is still floating in front of my eyes.

The sea teaches people to live and to know themselves in a new way. Gives new hope to the hopeless. Removes all obstacles in life and provides strength to move forward.
