Why nature conservation is Influential for us

Greetings to @meraindia, @sduttaskitchen, @nainaztengra, and other Noble steemians in the house. I count it a blessing to relate with you on this special day. I am among you today to share my view on how mother earth can be preserved and to show you some of my activities towards preserving the earth.

I believe that if there is something that should be a responsibility on every human around the world 🌎 is earth conservation. We need to take care of the earth and save it from the fast-rising global warming that's already in existence. The reason is, earth is the only dwelling place we have, and whatsoever that affects the earth, affects us either directly or indirectly.

If the earth is faced with challenges today, our life will be affected because we live in it. As such the end effect of whatsoever that happens to earth falls on human. For instance, if the earth is faced with drought, we as humans will suffer from famine (hunger) and other challenges. And if the earth is faced with flood disasters, then our lives and properties are destroyed. If the earth suffer from desertification, we will suffer from drought and also, the amount of sun that will descend on us might end up burning our skins. As such, let's take it as a responsibility to take care of the earth.

Ways in which we can help preserve the earth

There are many ways in which we can help preserve the earth. Below are few

• construction of water drainage and soak-aways
• planting of trees
• avoid dumping of refugees improperly
• recycling of materials like plastic bottles
• creating of forest reserves
• keeping our environment clean
• avoid using firewood to cook rather than an electric cook or gas cylinder
• discouraging bush burning etc.

Most importantly, impacting knowledge into the upcoming generation about environmental problems, it effects, and how they can be prevented. If the upcoming generation can have that understanding, then the world will be free from disaster in a few years to come.

My activities towards preserving the earth

I love the earth as much as I love myself. The reason is, whatsoever that affects the earth, affects my life. That's to say, my well-being depends on the well-being of my environment. As such, I try as much as possible to play a quarter toward maintaining the earth. Below are things I do to save my environment.

• planting trees is one of the major ways in which the earth can be preserved. As such, I plant trees around my compound. As you can see from the images, I plant mango and paw-paw trees. On daily basis, I water them.

• another way of preserving the earth is by keeping our soak-aways and drainages clean. From the picture above, you can see me removing sands from one of the drainages in my area. It was blocked by sand, and I took it as a responsibility to keep it clean.

As I mentioned earlier, one of the major thing we can do to save the future of our earth is, to impact knowledge about environmental problems into the younger generation. They will be able to save the future of our earth if only they have a clear understanding of the effect of global warming. As such, I took it as a responsibility upon myself to teach my students about environmental problems, their effects, and how they can be prevented.

Another way I am helping to preserve the earth is by using an electric cook or gas cylinder to cook. Most people use firewood and the gas that the fire release into the atmosphere is very dangerous to our dear earth.
