Do you think advanced technology somehow hampers our natural thought process? Share your opinion.

Yes, advanced technology somehow hampers our natural thought process. As we have become completely dependent on technology for all our work. Even in daily life, when the smallest problem or doubt arises we hardly analyze and think about the whole scenario and work on how to solve the issue. Rather, we just google it and read what can be done. We have been so dependent on technology, that we hardly trust our own decisions. First, we google and read all the details before taking any step further.

Should we depend entirely on these advanced technologies, or should we also use our intellect? Explain the reasons behind your answer.

I think we shouldn't depend entirely on the advanced technologies. We should always use our intellect even while using technology. Because human intelligence is far more advanced than any technology and what if someday, the advanced technologies don't work as they are working? You will stop all your work? No, right? We will have to use our intellect and figure out things.

And, if we use our intellect more it will get more shaper and we will be better at problem-solving and working efficiently. So, we shouldn't depend entirely on these advanced technologies.

Besides all the drawbacks of using technologies, I do support advanced technologies as we have benefited from them in many dimensions.

Firstly, due to this advanced technology, we humans have been able to cure many diseases.

Secondly, life has been easier and more comfortable because of technology.
For Example, It’s easy to maintain and find any documentations and accounts related details on the computer than manually.

Share the advantages and disadvantages of advanced technologies.

Advantages:

1. It’s easy to communicate with people all around the world.
2. We can learn and know anything we are interested in within seconds.
3. Many opportunities and doors have opened for many people as it’s easy to showcase your talent on social media.
4. Even homemakers and differently-abled people can work and achieve their dreams.
5. Technology has increased the work productively and efficiently as it’s less time-consuming.
6. Easy to track criminals and even safety have increased due to technologies. For Example: Installing CCTV cameras for safety. Using code systems, and fingerprinter detectors.

Disadvantages:

1. Technology is affecting today’s youth more than any other thing. Even little child keeps scrolling the social media, though they don’t understand but they are seeing it all and they do learn from what they see.
2. Social media is harming people even without people realizing it. If you have seen the movie social dilemma you will understand how social media is silently affecting us. Due to social media, mental health issues have increased across the globe. If you look 10 to 15 years back, the ratio of mental health issues like anxiety, depression, and sleep deprivation was far less than today.
3. As we people have become more dependent on technology, most of the work is being done seated in one place. So, we have become less physically active which has impacted my physical health too.
   Increase in cybercrime, as personal data of people are easily accessible through hacking.
