Today, while scrolling and looking for communities for some good contest to take part in. I liked the community “Incredible India”, and decided to take part in it today.

So, the contest is basically about marriage and here is my view on it.

Yes, I do believe marriages are made in heaven. As, from birth we have been hearing that everything is written, your birth, your life partner and your death date too. Everything and everyone we meet in your journey of life is destined. Some people come in our life to teach us some life lessons and some people stay and help us to cross the path in our journey of this beautiful life. And, marriage is that beautiful phase in one’s life, where you and your soulmate decides to be the part of each others life journey and enjoy every ups and downs together.

Which marriage do you prefer, arranged or love? Why?

I prefer a marriage where there is love, understanding and respect for each other. It doesn’t matter whether the marriage is arranged or love. As, I have seen the best kind of arranged marriages and the even the worst love marriages. Still, if I have to choose between arranged and love marriage, I will preferably choose love marriage because in love marriage we already know each other and there is more of understanding and comfort level.
Even the communication is easy with someone whom we have known for few months or years.

According to you what is the definition of a happy married life?

Happy married life is all about communicating, accepting, taking responsibilities and the most important is shredding their ego. And, I think partners must keep making some efforts to keep that spark alive in their married life. For example: Planning dates every 3-4 weeks, listening and asking each other about their day, spending some time together everyday, spending 10-15 minutes cuddling, hugging and showing some attraction to your partner everyday.

Share some reasons behind the increase in mental distance and separations.

I think lack of communication is the main reason behind mental distance and separation. As many people assume that his or her partner should behave in certain ways or show love in certain manner. But, every individual is different and the love language of every person is different, without communicating your partner won’t know your needs and desires. So, main reason is lack of communication.
