if the almighty was to give me the opportunity to choose between wealth, knowledge, and intellect. After a carful consideration of the three options:
Wealth is defined as having an abundance of money or valuable material possession.
Knowledge is awareness of a subject or the possession of facts, information, and skills that are acquired through or education or experience.
Intellect possessing the faculty of reasoning and understanding that enables critical thinker, a problem-solver, and the ability to make wise decisions when facing complex situations.

I will definitely go for intellect which leads to the why aspect of the question.

I will select intellect because I believe I can get more than just the knowledge and the wealth from the intellect.

Intellect being the capacity to solve problems by utilizing knowledge and applying critical thinking when making decisions which can boost intelligence.

Being intelligent will help me assimilate, process and gather knowledge more effectively. With intelligence, I can learn faster with a better understanding of complex concepts. It will not be long and I will gain more knowledge.
I believe that knowledge without intelligence is stagnant. Intelligence will help me gain more knowlage with he passing of time.
In this information age, intelligence along with the knowledge it synthesis in the wealth of this age. Being able to solve problems in one of the most important resources that can generate a lot of wealth.

Intellect is very helpful to one's self and to others, as it helps solve problems and provide solutions which is what is needed in companies and organizations.

Having all the knowledge without being able to solve a single problem is a waste of knowledge and is useless in this our days.
