Trawl pulling is an activity carried out in groups between the community and trawl handlers. This activity is usually done in the morning and evening. However, during the holy month of, February, the trawl pulling tradition is only carried out in the morning.
Today I was very lucky because I was able to see the trawl pulling activity firsthand. This morning at around 7:30, I went to the beach to breathe in the fresh morning air, while hunting for photos of the sunrise.
But when I arrived there, I saw many residents who were busy collecting fish from the trawl net.
Not only men flooded the beach, there were also several women who came to look for fish that had fallen scattered from the trawl net.
There are many types of fish that were successfully caught by the trawl handlers, including gantup fish, taleung fish, cirik fish, cut fish, and some shrimp and crabs that fell into the trawl net trap.
These fish are still very fresh, because they have just been caught. It so happened that at that time I brought 20 thousand rupiah. Then I met the trawler and bought the mixed fish for 20 thousand rupiah. Then the trawler took a bag and put the fresh fish into a plastic bag until it was full without weighing it.
There were so many fish, maybe if we bought them at the market, the price would be more than 20 thousand rupiah. After buying the fish, I didn't rush home, because I wanted to take some pictures of the atmosphere on the beach that morning. Then after I was satisfied taking pictures, I just went home, because if I stayed here for too long, the fish might not be fresh anymore, and when cooked later it would be less delicious.

Thank God, many of the fish were caught in the fishermen's nets, and it was a blessing. Residents also got a share of the fortune of getting fish given by the fishermen.
