The new Avatar movie, Avatar - The way of Water is a must watch movie. I had thoroughly enjoyed watching the Avatar Part 1 which was released some 13 years back. It took very long for them to release the 2nd one but such a fabulous job done in making the movie that it is worth the wait to watch. A major part of the movie is shot underwater and the scenes are absolutely breathtaking.
The best part of this movie is to watch the soul connections with the different sea creatures which is such a joyful experience to watch. It is a very emotional movie at many levels. Father going to all lengths to protect his family and adopting to complete new home which is moving from the Jungle land to the sea, learning the way of sea life and going to all lengths to protect his family. There are some dialogues in the movie which are very heart touching like;
The way of Water has no beginning and no End
Water connects all things, life to death, darkness to light.
The another one that I loved was; The people say all energy is borrowed and some day you have to give it back.
The underwater visual effects are truly breathtaking. Even if you have not paid much attention to sea life ever, this movie will make you fall in love with the sea life. The movie also shows how we humans are so determined to destroy our nature and we being humans have become so inhuman that we could go to any extent for our greed and power. One will say that it is just a story but to think of it almost all of it is happening in today's world, it's just put in a way that will charm your heart visually.
James Cameron the creator of this movie has done a fantastic job. The Avatar characters Jake, Neytiri, and their children start growing on you as the movie progresses. At many points the movie made some very strong spiritual impacts.
It's a 3 hour long movie but I enjoyed every moment of it thoroughly. A very good watch after a very long time. There are 3 more Avatars coming in the years to come, I look forward to them.
