Dear friends,
How are you all? I welcome you all to my page. Today I am here with some photographs of Kanchenjunga.
Often people ask me whether I love mountains or the ocean, and I do not take much time to answer this question! Yes, of course, it is the mountain I love the most. That doesn't mean I do not love the ocean, but that is my second preference.
You know Naina gave me the name of a rockstar, and I have to justify the name! hehehe! Kidding! The reason is something else;
the practical reason is that almost half of my life devoured North Bengal.
In the place where my flat is situated;
I can see the top of the Kanchenjunga from the terrace of my flat.
Every day we all used to go to the rooftop in the evening;
and at dusk, we noticed the lights that were coming from the mountain.

It looked like stars coming down from the sky and shining from the wall of Kanchenjunga.
A few can only be deemed and can't be expressed with words.
Every weekend we went to visit somewhere like Sikkim, Kalimpong, and Darjeeling;
Besides that, I went to the road of Mirik to comprehend driving.
So many memories I have related to the place, some of which I can share;
but some are not because those are personal and emotional too.
In the winter season, Nepalese come to join a fair arranged in Siliguri stadium ground where they knit all woolen things;
and we regularly visited to purchase those beautiful woolen dresses from them.
The Hong Kong market is within walking distance, from my flat;
so our evening destination was Momo Gali(a road only found in momos).
Sometimes I feel too shifted there;
but then some memories hold me back here.
At first, we were a joint family, and that time in winter; oranges came from Darjeeling.
A vegetable squash is famous there;
but now in Kolkata, vegetables are also available.

However, I started with why I love mountains.
Another reason behind the loving mountain is its robustness.
It needs the courage to face several unwanted situations often we encounter, but when we flow with them;
it is challenging to find the edge.
I always take the mountain as an example and try to stand and face all hurdles isolated like it.
A few people who know about me could only correlate my words.
Mountain rouses me to stand frankly and face problems without whining.

I have some very fond memories of this place. Had an aunt living in Kalimpong and have visited her couple of times and every time we visit her a visit to this place is for sure. The Sunrise here is so gorgeous, specially when just the first rays of the sun falls on the opposite mountain and giving the gold effect. So, so beautiful.

sduttaskitchen সমুদ্রের থেকেও আমার পাহাড় খুব পছন্দ। আসামের পাহাড় দেখে খুশিতে চোখ থেকে জল চলে এসছিল। মনে হচ্ছিল আর ফিরবো না এখানেই থেকে যাই।

@sduttaskitchen কাঞ্চনজঙ্ঘার ছবি গুলি খুব সুন্দর হয়েছে। মনে হচ্ছে এখুনি চলে যাই। কিন্তু ছবি গুলো দেখেই মন ভরাতে হবে। কারন জানিনা কোনো দিন সুযোগ হবে কি না যাওয়ার।
