SLC22/WK6: Creating an Electrical Series Board.

Hello fellow steemians , a blessed Sunday to y'all, today I'll be participating on SLC22/WK6: Creating an Electrical Series Board by @mahadisalim

Before I'll start with my practical I'll sending my best regards to our beloved teacher @mahadisalim,this week learning was base on making a series board so below I'll share to you all the steps i used on making my electrical series board

A

Make a series board and share the technique of making it in at least five steps with drawings.

As we all know an electrical series board is an effective equipment that's used to test electrical tools like fan, television, electric cooker etc. below is the picture of the electrical series board i made.

Okay guys above is my electrical series board I made by myself, though mine looks quite different from the one that was made by our teacher but I applied my idea and creativity since I wasn't make provisions for the necessary materials . But I assured you it works perfectly just like the one my teacher made .

Materials

  • Plastic board
  • Lamp holder
  • 3 in one switch
  • 3 pin socket
  • Wire
  • Led bulb

Steps in making my Electrical Series Board

  • Steps 1: first of all I had to gather all the necessary materials at one spot to start with my practical so after that Since it was a plain plastic board I had to carved out holes in which I'll be fixing my lamp holder, switch and socket

  • Step 2: After I was done making holes in the board , i arranged the lamp holder, switch and socket to the board to see how it goes.

  • Step 3: After I was done with fixing of the materials to the board ,I had to designed my own circuit to enable me make a perfect connection on my electrical series board

  • Step 4: After i was done drawing my circuit,I had to start wiring my board by following my circuit drawing to avoid wrong connection.

  • Step 5: after I was done with the wiring I had to test my connection with an electrical tester to check if there's current flow in the board. So by this I had to plugged the electrical series board to the wall socket and test if there's current flow in it.

Luckily my tester is indicating that there's current and my LED Bulb is lighting so i believe didn't make any wrong connection

So guys above steps will show how I made my electrical series board and it'll also proof that the practical was carried out by me.

Check with two electrical or electronic device series boards and show results.

Okay after I was done with my Electrical Series Board I to check it with some electrical devices to check if it will actually work perfectly, the first testing was plugging my phone charger using it to charge my phone. Then I observed that the charger was charging my phone and nothing happened to the charger.

And the second electrical device I used was an electrical stove, I plugged the electrical stove to check if there will be any burn to confirm if there's wrong connection on the series board because electric cooker always attract a lot of current which can leads to burn when there's any wrong connection .at first when i plugged the stove it started heating as usual and after 10 to 15 mins it became hot and nothing happened to the board

Check with a short piece of cable in a series board and show the result.

After I finished checking my electrical series board with two different devices I had to use a piece of cable to check if there'll be any burn or spark on the board. And there wasn't any burn on the board but honestly I was afraid of doing this particular checking.

I'm so happy I finished the practical and there wasn't any damage or burn during the practical,and I'll so much thank sir @mahadisalim for always taking his time to explain electrical related stuff to us I really appreciate.
