Greetings Entrepreneurs!
To continue in my participation in Steemit Engagement Challenge Season 7 of Week 3. Today, I want to share my entry in Steem Entrepreneur Community which is on the topic; Steem Education Festival. Using the contest tips, I will explain briefly what steem power is, its influence on my steem power and my opinion on the #club5050 campaign which has had significant impact on the growth of steem power.

Steem power allows steemit users to have power in their accounts and it can not be moved out of the wallet easily until power down is done which can take up to a week before the process takes place.
Steem power is what gives a user the power to be able to add value to another user's publication which is through up vote. We can build up our steem power by creating contents, receiving rewards, buying steem from exchangers, through delegations and by powering up by converting steem to steem power through the process called power up.

The first step is to login your wallet, move to the liquid steem and click on power up. A dialogue box will display, put the amount of steem, click on power up and then put in your active key to confirm your transaction.

The following are the influence of steem power on my growth;
- Adding value to other users' publications by voting
- I have created higher percentage of curation rewards as my steem power grows
- I am able to support communities by delegating my steem power willingly.
My commitment to collect and increase my steem power has always been on a high speed since the campaign of #club5050, #club75 and #club100. I have been able to move from #club5050 to #club100. This initiative has really disciplined steemit users to control how they transfer out their steem. However, it has also helped me grow in my little ways and I would say that #club5050 campaign has been helpful and it is the best decision anyone can make in growing his/her steem power.
