A world without electricity

Up until this moment, as I am writing this article, I feel bored because we have been without power for 3 days in our community. My phone has switched off, so no family or relatives can call for urgent attention. This shows how essential electricity is in our homes.

What would happen if the world had no electricity?

Some dangerous things can happen to our lives, and our properties are at risk worth billions of naira because in that situation, evil persons can use the opportunity to harm each and every one of us. Everywhere will be dark, and people will not be able to move freely.

For example, insurgency in Nigeria carried out illegal activities in many villages in the northern part of the country. They successfully performed these operations because there is no electricity in those areas. Many people were killed, while others were kidnapped and ransom was collected from family and friends. If electricity is available, it will serve as a security measure for those villagers.

Can we live without electricity?

Yes, we can live without electricity. Before the invention of electricity, we made use of oil lamps to light our homes. It helped us perform some activities, but it did not shine as bright as modern lights called electricity. Without electricity, we would not be able to make a phone call, but our forefathers in olden days used drums, smoke signals, carrier pigeons, and so on to convey information to their people.

What do you think, if humans lived without electricity in this era of globalization?

Electricity is life. In fact, it makes our life easier now more than in the past. Without electricity, we cannot send messages internationally, for example, through email or use social media platforms to exchange conversations with others. Electricity gives us the opportunity to learn more about the Steemit platform through the use of our smartphones plugged into a socket.

So, if electricity is not available in the world, Steemit will not be known by anyone and other blog sites may also be affected. In addition, the absence of electricity can affect our exposure because we may not be able to listen to the radio or watch the news on television, especially regarding what is happening around the world.

Can we create energy with simple tools in the modern era?

It's possible to generate our own energy through simple tools even when the light is not stable in our community. Here are the tools needed to generate power:

1. Solar: Solar energy can be used to generate electricity in various homes. This can be achieved by harnessing energy from the sun and converting it into electricity. Installers will install the solar panels on our roofs so that they face the direction of the sun.

2. Biomass: This is a process where we generate heat from organic material to provide warmth for our homes.

3. Wind: This can be achieved through a wind turbine, especially when the blades are turning. This can generate electricity to power our houses.

Conclusion
