For the breadfruit we buy from the community, the breadfruit used to make chips is a half-ripe breadfruit, after cleaning the skin, the breadfruit is cut into thin slices as shown in the picture above.
Furthermore, the breadfruit is fried until it changes color to yellowish, for the frying process you should use a large skillet and lots of oil so that the fried breadfruit can fit more into the pan and the frying time is not too long.
When the frying process takes place, the breadfruit is almost ripe, then add salt water so that the breadfruit has a savory taste when eaten later. Then after the breadfruit is ripe, it is immediately removed and the oil is drained.
This can be a very easy business for friends who want to try it. Capital only:
-Breadfruit 5,000 IDR/fruit
-cooking oil 14,000 IDR/liter
-kitchen salt 5,000 IDR
For the taste, it can be according to the tastes of friends, if for example you want to add balado powder, you can too.
