Marriages

• Marriages are functions in which two opposite gender person get married for lifetime, they both accept each other as partners and their couple journey starts from there. Men and women accept each other as partner and marriage is a type of contract between people which means they accepted each other. Spiritual meaning of marriage is accepting opposite gender as your partner and he/she also accepts you as their partner for lifetime journey, in marriage their are witnesses from both sides who are considered as witness of these couples acceptance for lifetime.

In Christianity and Islam there is marriage done between two opposite genders. Islam teaches us that do marriage when you love each other, don't do adultery with each other and also abstain from making secret relations.

So, marriage help you from forbidden relations and you don't have the bad lust for other people. marriage helps you from bad habits and you become a man because you will be having responsibility of partner and family members.

• The story is about village marriage, in the mountainous areas, where the weddings are mostly simple and relaxing. Less music or no music, you meet guests, distribute food by yourself including your family members, the decoration is done by your family, chairs and tables arrangement and other work is done by your family.

• So, I will share story of my village wedding. It was my cousin's wedding, female cousin. It happened in the mountains, our village is same as the upper photo's location. The wedding was going to start after 3 days, our elders; contained 5 to 6 people who were going to decide the decoration and planning system. They first make plan and later discuss it with their wife's and other elder females, which includes sisters and mother, they also include the ideas of females in decoration and internal home planning which the women knows the more. The female and male guest seating area is separate, females are hosted in internal house area and for males outside house area is set; in our villages mostly government schools host wedding seating area for males.

• A cook is invited to a specific area where he cook the food. Mostly young males decorate the house and bring chairs and tables to female and males places, there is no waiter to distribute the food but the host do all the activities of distribution of food according to the plan.

• I have also worked in the house activities and external place where males are sitting. In the males area I have served them with drinks and other things which they need. I have also taken guests on a trip to explore our village, after they eats the food.

• The main dishes include rice; including chickpeas and raisins, beef and raita. Also other stuff like fruits and dry fruits, and juice.

• The wedding is really simple and discussion takes place between elders and at night time there is a music celebration in the female sides.
