Steemit Engagement Challenge 4 | STEEM GROWTH CONTEST - Theme: How many hours have you spent on steemit in the last week || By @armstrongdiho

INTRODUCTION

In some months it seems as if it is only the steemitcryptoacdemy community that is the busiest community in steemit blockchain. How I benefited a lot in the community but I always ask myself if 2 or more communities will be busy like this community then people 👫 will benefit especially those that don't know much about the crypto world.

Naturally, not everybody will know about cryptocurrencies so other engagements have to come up in some of the community, this has been my thought. Fortunately, it seems the blockchain knew what was in my mind by creating more engagements in several communities making lots of people busy. Now, we can see people writing in these various communities, those that don't know anything about cryptocurrencies can now write in any of the communities.

Some of the people I joined in steemit called me and said, Boss steemit is now sweet and interesting that they can now engage themselves in other communities and I was so excited because they can now earn just like me.

In general, the engagement has brought the beauty of the blockchain. Thanks to the steemit team bravo to you all for restoring the joy of the steemians. Well, my focus is on how many hours I have spent on steemit in the last week. So Well, let’s dive a little deeper into the statement.

OVERVIEW OF MY LAST WEEK IN STEEMIT

In the past 7- days with steemit and I would say I never enjoyed it because of some unavoidable reasons but in all, I was able to make 1 post.

First, I'm engaged with work where I do not have much chance to write and even the little time I have to post is an issue due to poor network in the area. However, I told myself no matter how poor the network will be I must make at least 1 or more posts and comment on others' posts. The post is on the engagement challenge contest.

So, how do I schedule work on Steemit For the Past 7-Days regardless of my external work and poor network. Well, to achieve this I only make use of the Evening from Thursday to Saturday.

AFTERNOON HOUR

Well, in the afternoon hour, I don't always write but to read and keep the materials I will use on the engagement challenges especially for the crypto academy because of the limited time and not often. Also, I use this period sometimes from 2p-4 pm, during these hours, I'm only reading, commenting and upvoting posts from different authors, especially in the engagement challenge across different communities.

Nevertheless, within the past 7-days, I have posted a post in the afternoon which was the one for crypto academy blockchain-through-the-concepts-by-armstrongdiho. Thus, I have used steemit for an average of 2 hours every afternoon for the past 7-days.

EVENING 🌙 HOUR

I can say the evening hours are the biggest time I have spent more time on this platform which is from 5 pm to 7 pm I will stop and prepare my dinner. After my dinner and I will have some conversations with my loved ❤️ ones. Then I continue from 10 pm - 11 pm once I'm done with the conversations. This means I used this platform in the evening average hours of 3 hours.

This means for 3- days(Thursday to Saturday) I spent an average of 3 hours which 3hrs × 3days = 9hours on steemit for the past 3-days.

BENEFITS OF THIS STEEMIT ENGAGEMENT CHALLENGE

1. RESTORED THE BEAUTY OF THE PLATFORM

The engagement challenge has helped to restore the beauty of the platform. And some may ask how? Well, you can agree with me that in previous years let's say 2020 and earlier 2021, we have the thediaygame contest, my town in ten pictures, contest about cryptocurrencies and their associates that users can post in some communities even sometimes in their blog. Only the tags are used for the upvotes. And other activities were going on on the platform, also, in steemfoods, you can prepare things and steemcurators will vote ✅ your post and this made the platform busy and more exquisite.

Some happened later where it become only steemitcryptoacademy that was the busiest and most lively community among others. And some people stopped steeming because they don't know much about cryptocurrencies and their associates.

Also, some that could write very well don't reach the requirements stopped because of the reputation or the amount of steempower they possess. Believe me, they were so bittered. Now the steemit team 👥 has brought a wonderful engagement challenge that has brought back as many steemians that have lost hope if writing 📝, thereby, it has restored the beauty of the platforms and the love is back among steemians.

2. THERE IS MORE COMMITMENT ON THE PLATFORM

Since the engagement challenge contest started there is an increase in the rate of commitment to this platform among all steemians. I might not be among them as a result of work and poor network but lots have dedicated most of their time to this platform which has also made the platform more lively and sweet.

3. IT'S EDUCATIONAL & KNOWLEDGEABLE

To be honest, It has helped many steemians including me to learn and understand a lot about different authors' cultures and traditions, food, and lifestyle. Also, it adds extra knowledge to steemians while glancing at the other steemians' posts.

4. IT CREATES FRIENDSHIP AMONG STEEMIANS

To be frank, the engagement challenge has helped foster friendship and relationships among steemians. We thought the upvote and comments we do among ourselves is in vain no it's not. It creates a room for friendship among ourselves and brings togetherness among all the Steemit communities to live as one. Now, I have more friends.

5. IMPROVEMENT

Everyone loves to win 🏅 and wants their vote ✅ to be upvoted. So, the engagement challenge is like a competition and everyone is always doing their best to make a high-quality post to stand chances of winning. Thereby, this has in turn made steemians improve in their content writing.

There is also improvement in building creativity in every steemians. For example, in Last week's posts, I saw lots of designs for Mr Steem and they look elegant. Believe me, it's been a long some might have done that but because of their love, they participate to show their creativity.

Also, It enables one to strategize a plan for each day and manage time efficiently which means 😏 there's an improvement as well in areas of time managing.

Lastly, some have discovered some potential as a result of doing the engagement challenge. Last time we were asked to create a story from a drawing made by artists and a lot of steemians created it. It might be there the first time created story from a drawing made by artists which means they just discovered some potential as such, there is an improvement.

MY SUGGESTIONS FOR THIS CHALLENGE

The engagement challenge is amazing but I have a few suggestions.

Each community should provide their best 👍 each week, not considering if the users 👤 have participated in other communities. I mean if a user 👤 scored 10 in steemitcryptoacademy and made only 2 posts that week he should stand to be among the weekly winners not placing other users 👥 who scored or 9 ahead just because they participated in all.

It is usually that not everyone will have the chance to participate in all the communities because of unavoidable reasons. I suggest 🤔 the steemit team should look into it.

However, I know the contest is lovely, but they should consider 🤔 some of the users that don't have the chance of writing all and those that write like one with good quality content that stands to be among the best should emerge among the winner of the weekly.

Moreover, I suggest there should be more curators to assist provide rewards to users. I see some posts not curated by the curators. Although it was notified to us that upvotes are not guaranteed which means 😏 not all will receive upvotes ✅ but not to cause discouragement among users, who write 📝 posts and not curated.

I suggest there should be more curators needed to help distribute rewards among partakers of the challenge to put joy 😄 on their faces.

CONCLUSION

The engagement challenge is amazing and has restored the beauty 💅 of the platform back again. Also, the engagement is educational and knowledgeable whereby steemians have acquired a lot of things from each other.

Nevertheless, the Steemit engagement challenge gives more benefits to the steemians. It has made the platform lively and exquisite as such, I hope everything continues moving smoothly.
