☑️What speific steps have you taken to reduce electricity consumption in your business during this summer 

Electrical energy is essential for effectiveness in business, especially when allot of electrical appliances are involved. Therefore the need for conservation of energy is key in saving cost.

 Below are some steps I take to reduce electrical consumption in my business during this summer;

✓I Switch off lights and electrical appliances when not using them. Appliances such as: computers, WiFi routers and printers.
✓ I Switch to energy-saving LED light bulbs. LED bulbs use less power and last longer saving up to 80% off my lighting bills.
✓I insulate my roof.
An insulated ceiling make a big difference to my energy bills. Effective ceiling insulation saves me up to 20% on cooling and heating costs.

  ☑️Have you invested in any technology or tools to monitor and manage your electricity usage?

Yes I invested and make use of Prepared Energy Meter(PEM). Prepared energy meter, monitors energy consumption and gives personalized usage of energy thereby helping me control and minimize the rate at which I consume electricity. I can turn it off in my absence and save energy at that moment until I am available for usage again.

I have highlighted some few steps I use to curtail high consumption of energy,
adopting these steps will help immensely in reducing high electricity bill among business owners.

Below are few steps to take to consideration:

✓ Use of Prepared Energy Meter to monitor and control consumption.
✓Switch of electrical appliances and light when not in use.
✓Save energy in how you wash and dry clothes.
✓Save money with solar energy.

Using solar electricity you generate can reduce the amount of energy you need to buy from retailers.

✓ Insulate your roof.
✓Switch to energy-saving LED light globes.
