It never crossed my mind that I can stay at home and make money. Why? Because am working and I see it as another burden. I worked from Monday -Friday from 9:00am to 6:00pm. Where will I now have time to think about doing business?
What then makes you start up a business
The present economic situation help me to think outside the box i.e having a business ideas which is very helpful to me. Truly, the business has supported me in many ways, cutting down some of my expenses from my salary.
When I had the idea, at first I was not perfect in baking, what I did was to consult the internet. I learnt it from the internet and become perfect then I bake it in the house for consumption, I gave to few of my co-tenant to rate my work before started baking it for sell.
How is the sell
From what am observing, the sell is not bad. Mostly children patronizes me more than the adult. But what really help me is the Post of service(POS) am included. As people comes to make withdrawal, deposit or do transfer, am advertising the business too. From the cash I get from selling the bons, I also used to attend to my customers which gives me a double profit.
Challenge
There's no business without a challenge, the ability to strategies and overcome the challenges makes the business a unique one. The main challenge of my business is the time. I run the baking business mainly on Saturday and Sunday when and back from church.
Am off on Saturday, so I will start the business from morning to evening while the POS is everyday but only when am home. Secondly, the area is not too busy to produce a large quantities, only producing the quatity that I know there will be no leftover.
About the business
This business is unique. I call it unique because is a business that is deliver and get paid immediately. Once I finish selling, I will see the outcome of the sell at the end of the day.
From this business am doing, I tell you my friends that doing something that gives you extra money to solve one of your need is very good. Engage in anything that will fetch you money aside of what you're currently doing. It will not be easy, that's was my thought too but I bet you, if you give it a try, you will not regret.
