Introduction
Its been a previlage to be here. Dicovering myself. Doing wonders with words. And exploring my world on blockchain. Im waiting for ghe time i would come out financially free and independent until then I'm going to work harder and smarter.
The major reason why I joined the Steem platform is to be financially independent.
Decentralization has made life easier for so many people and today I want to be among those people. Decentralized platforms are the life savers and steem is among those. joined Steemit for financial incentives and to broaden my horizons.
Another reason i joined Steem platform was because I'm passionate about blockchain technology and the idea of earning cryptocurrency for my content. It's an innovative way to engage with a like-minded community and be rewarded for my contributions.
I've been closely following the developments in blockchain technology, and the concept of decentralized social media and content rewards intrigued me. Steem's unique approach to content monetization and community engagement piqued my interest.
After reading about Steem and finding out what it is, the ability to earn cryptocurrency rewards, such as Steem and Steem Dollars, for my contributions was the sole reason. I also understand that Steem provides a financial incentive to create quality content and engage with the community, which can be especially motivating.
What motivates me on the Steem platform is the combination of community, creativity, and financial rewards. I find inspiration in connecting with a diverse community of users who share my interests and passions.
The first time I was rewarded 2$ for just introducing myself on the platform inspired me to do more and be consistent, even though the journey was not going to be easy from the beginning.
Sometimes the support and engagement from fellow Steemians encourage me to create and share meaningful content.
It's also rewarding to see my efforts translating into tangible financial benefits.
The following are the obstacles I faced when I joined the platform and how I was able to overcome them.
Low Initial Earnings
Content Plagiarism was one of the obstacles I faced when I initially joined.
The thought of using my brain to write every damn word makes it so discouraging but with time I got to learn that I can be more creative than the people I feel like copying from and I picked up that challenge and here I am writing and being creative myself.
-Lack of Visibility: when I first joined after I got 2$ on my introduction post, the other posts I made within 2 weeks were with no votes, no support, and nothing. I put in so much effort to write some of this content and had no single support but thank God @bossj23 and @emmy01 were always there to encourage me to keep pushing and be consistent.
-Maintaining Consistency: It got to a point where I could not maintain consistency because I was discouraged. Sometimes I couldn't even write 1 post a day. Sometimes I don't even check the platform but when I see how the other newbies are consistent and have been supported I get charged up and start to work even harder.
I have not taken note of this but with time I know I would find a lot of users that would inspire me. I know there are lots of contents to be inspired from and I'm looking forward to starting my adventure on the platform
Aside from that it helps me discover how to express myself in words and also write well on my own, It also has the potential to empower content creators by providing a new way to monetize their work. My hope and aspiration on platforms like Steemit will be that it continues to evolve and offer more opportunities for creators to earn a living through their content, potentially shaping the future of online content creation.
Some users may hope to use Steemit to raise awareness or support causes they care about through their content and the rewards they earn.
Conclusion
At the end of this race, we will surely look back to the time we joined as newbies and appreciate the communities and our mentors for their help and support. Because it made us.
I'm inviting @emmyjnr, @sirexcellence001, @emmy01, and @bossj22 to participate in this contest.
Steemit is a very educative and supportive decentralized social media platform. Sometimes I feel glad to have come across this platform at an early stage in life. When I started I faced virtually all the challenges you mentioned. Plagiarism was one of my weakness, I thank God I wasn't labeled a plagiarist since it is one of the biggest crime on steemit.
It's a good thing to read that you have been encouraged by @bossj23 and myself. I'm happy to know I've been able to see people push through and thanks to our special @bossj23.
I will encourage you to steem and be consistent. Consistency is the key 😊.....
