Christmas is here again and each day brings a flurry of economic activity. Everyone is getting ready for Christmas, and it's obvious that there will be a lot of impulse purchases during this time. It is also a period or time when business will almost certainly boom.

Many sellers will benefit from this at this time. I suppose this is their season to make more money, as the covid pandemic did not favor them last year, when they were limited in many ways.

Today I decided to take a stroll around Kumasi, namely Kejetia. Kejetia is one of Kumasi's main business districts, and as a result, it is always congested and crowded.

Because of the heavy traffic, it was difficult for me to move freely about the Kumasi City Market in Kejetia today. Today's market was packed to the brim with shoppers.

Because Kejetia has a lot of stores and it's likely to find a product sold at several different shops, it's difficult for anyone to monopolize the market, and as a result, goods are much cheaper in Kejetia than anywhere else in Kumasi.

I actually came to see a friend who works as the commercial manager at the Market, and after that I decided to get a gift for my little boy at home. While escorting me, he decided to help me check out some of the shops where I could get any toy for a child.

I finally got a nice toy car that can move when powered by a battery. I was also bought some pastries, which all cost about 30 cedis, which is equivalent to 11.78 steem. It was already late, so after paying, I proceeded to the entrance to catch a bus to my destination. I'm sure there will be a lot of traffic and people in town in the days leading up to Christmas.
