Do you remember this quote, from the Sci-Fi masterpiece of Christopher Nolan's Interstellar? It's one of his finest works, that takes us on a journey through space and time.

So, for the second week of Steemit Engagement Challenge - Season 7, organized by the beloved Steem Entrepreneur Community, I thought to share a movie review with you.

"Interstellar" is a visually amazing and emotionally powerful film that tells the story of a group of astronauts on a mission to save humanity when Earth is just a few years before mass destruction. Director Nolan has known for his capability to generate mindblowing movies such as "Inception", "Memento", ''Tenet'' and "The Dark Knight" trilogy, etc.

Nothing less in here also, this movie is a combination of complex scientific concepts (both already proven and some are just theories), with some philosophical ideas blended with an amazing screenplay.

Here, Jonathan is Christoper's brother, and Emma Thomas is his wife. If someone say, Nepotism is embracing the cinema, I like it for this kind of output. Here, Kip Thorne is a theoretical physicist, who did a major input in creating complex scientific aspects of the movie.

Summary of the plot

People are in search of survival in Sand Storms

As, said earlier, at that time human race is under threat of extinction. Sand storms are a common scene and corn has become the only source of food. The main character Cooper, a former pilot and an Engineer at NASA, was recruited to lead a team with other 3 scientists to explore a new habitat, in a new galaxy.

The moment Cooper had to leave his children for the mission, is really emotional and he promised to return home. Earlier, a mission has been successful in finding three possible planets beyond our galaxy. So, they have to explore them and find a suitable planet to habitat humans on earth.

They have two plans. The first one is to find the best planet and return to Earth to carry the remaining people on Earth there. But at that time, there is a complex Gravity equation to be solved, which was led by professor Brand. But if they were unsuccessful, the second plan was to create a space colony using pre-fertilized eggs in a suitable habitat to protect the human race but had to leave behind the people on earth. Will they be successful?

Along the way, they have to make sacrifices and face various obstacles. Especially with the concept of, Time Dilation, betrayals, deaths of two scientists, lack of resources and unexpected realities, etc. Anyway, with a series of mysteries, Cooper was successful in communicating with her daughter through a five-dimensional tesseract, which was made by another higher-dimensional species. Seems like they were helping from the start. So, they were successful in creating a space station to habitat the humans left on Earth.

We know the capacity of Nolan. Here also he has done his best to make this realistic. He has grown acres of corn for only this movie, has made sand storms to shoot, and the shots and creation in the universe are top-notch. With the help of Kip Thorne, they have focused a lot on scientific aspects as well. The Wormhole is still a theory scientists have produced, and they have created a journey through it remarkably using calculations and Maths.

The cast has also delivered a powerful performance with a mix of emotions. The Visual effects are truly breathtaking, especially the way of highlighting space, planets, and their journey through it. We can't forget the impact done by Hans Zimmer as the composer. The part on Miller's planet, with the tidal waves, he has used all his experiences in generating a masterpiece there.

Eventhough the movie is a Sci-Fi movie, it gently touches some philosophical and emotional themes as well. The deep conversation about love, sacrifices, humanity, the nature of time, etc.

Conclusion and Recommendation

I always give Two-hundred out of a hundred for this movie. It's true. There are complex scientific concepts discussed here. But they are interesting. Even I had to watch it several times, go through reviews, and research papers to understand this masterpiece to some level. But it's totally worthy it. There are many things outside our reality and beyond the Galaxy.

"Interstellar" is a film that will leave a lasting impression on viewers. It's a must-watch movie, especially who are in love with Science Fiction and mind-blowing movies.
