Durian season has arrived in Aceh. The abundance of durian increases people's creativity. Various durian-themed preparations were created. One of them is durian grilled pulut. This means grilled pulut eaten with durian.

Initially, grilled pulut was made using soaked sticky rice. This rice is then mixed with coconut milk, pandan leaves and salt. The material is in aron. Some people add sugar if they want the pulut sweet. But we don't use sugar.

The grilling process can be done over charcoal or embers, you can also use a modern grill or kitchen equipment. We use a kitchen grill placed on the stove. Grilling is done until the banana leaves are charred on both sides of the pulut, but don't let them burn completely or burn.
