Greetings to all the wonderful steemians present in the @steem-entreprenuers community. It is a privilege to relate with you in this last week of season4 engagement challenge. Today, I am here to take you on a tour around my city. Relax and follow me gradually as I introduce you to some developments in my locality.

Over the years, kwara state has experienced a lot of development in the sector of Agriculture, education, transport, and other public and social services. As we all know, every city needs all the above listed developments for it citizens to be able to live a comfortable and sustainable life.

In this article, I will be introducing you to our area of agriculture, education, and transportation services.

Agriculture

Before the discovery of crude oil in Nigeria, agriculture has been our main and major source of income. As of then, we farm Maize, groundnut, rice, beans, Guinea corn, millet, cassava, sweet potatoes, etc. But after the discovery of crude oil, petroleum became our main source of revenue.

Nevertheless, Nigeria still remain the best in terms of agriculture in west Africa. We are blessed with fertile lands, and God has made us strong enough to make use of them to produce food for our nation. Kwara state is one of the Nigeria States that are good in agriculture. Here in kwara, we farm almost all the agricultural produce that anyone could think of.

Education

I once read an article that said, "if you want to destroy any nation, don't kill or destroy their properties, but destroy their education system. Education is the most vital development that any country could ever experience. With education, the society can achieve whatsoever that's achievable by man.

Here in kwara state, we have one of the best educational centers that train the upcoming generation. Basically in Nigeria, we have our education system to be 6,6,4. That's 6 years in primary school, 6 years in secondary, and 4 years in the university.

Transport

Sometimes I wonder how goods and services would have been transported without the cars, motorcycles, tricycles, planes, and borts that technology brought. With development in technology, people now move from one place to another with ease.

My locality is not left out in terms of transport. Here in kwara, we make use of motorcycle, tricycles, and cars to transport our goods and services from one place to another.

Kwara state is known for its big Agricultural contributions to the National at large and not only the state, so I must say, that is a very welcomed development.

You have done a wonderful post on education and agriculture. Wishing you success.

Everything you said about kwara state is indeed truth, as day passes by more development are taking place, Highbreed model school is one if the best school in ilorin and i'm so happy with the way the community are developing the school each term. Best of luck.

Hello, friend it was interesting to learn more about the advantages of Kwara. I agree with you, education is so important that destroying it means destroying the nation itself.

It is good to see that you've been blessed with good lands to work and also with oil to sell. Nice one

God bless.

You have really represented kwara state very well, as you have showed us how far they have gone in agriculture, transport, and the educational sector. I agree with you that Kwara state is one of the agriculture giant in Nigeria, and their recent developments is encouraging. Thanks for sharing, and goodluck in this contest.

Glad to hear that your country is experiencing good development in the sectors of education, agriculture, transportation and public services. Because people want that. I also share posts about public service, if you have time please see it and I am very happy.

Like Kwara, my area also has transportation such as rickshaws, and cars to carry goods/services,
Your city has a good and neat place for education, this will increase interest in learning and improve the quality of education,
Good luck to you friends
👍👍😀

Exitos

Thank you so much

Hello @ishayachris,
You are accurate in saying that Nigeria is considered the best and most successful country in agriculture throughout Western Africa. For your schools, i see some of my citizens (especially in the Department of Law) considering fostering their Masters education in some specified Nigerian universities, or abroad. For transportation, i think we too have all these transportation systems you mentioned, however we have a massive decline in availability of tricycles (commonly called keke over there) here in my country, especially in the Northwest and Southwest Regions. It is almost absent throughout my country. I enjoyed your entry.
Thank you for sharing, good luck!

Kwara is a town with great wealth in terms of the production of a wide variety of crops and agricultural production and in terms of education, it is concerned with the progressive development of its inhabitants, as the main engine to achieve the development of the country.

You are right ma'am. I highly appreciate your visit

Cheers and many successes
