In this week's contest, we are writing on the "Steem Culinary Contest" where we talk about different places they sell food and how the service and ambiance of the place are.

Crunchies

For this contest, I'm talking about a very popular eatery called Crunches. The eatery is located at Bogobri which is at Mary Slessor high way. This location makes it easier for people to troop in there every day. The eatery has 3 branches in the state where I stay with the other two in other locations.

They provide mostly junk food as that is their area of specialization, then they also provide traditional food. Some of the junks include Meatpie, Chicken pie, Burgers, Doughnuts, Fish rolls. Their traditional food includes White rice & stew, Jollof rice, Eba & any soup choice, Moi Moi, etc.

They also provide drinks which can be bought along with junk food or traditional food depending on your choice. The drinks include Coke, Pepsi, Fanta, Juice, Yoghurt, and water.

They also have a section where they make another type of junk food called "Sharwama". This section is located outside of the building. This is to prevent those that come to buy the shawarma from waiting aimlessly inside the building, furthermore to prevent the inside from being filled with people unnecessarily. When ordering sharwama, it takes some time as it is not available at the instant you want it. You have to make an order before you buy it.

On the other hand, junk foods and traditional food are available the instant you order them. They are prepared and put inside a transparent cover that is made of glass. this transparent cover also functions as a warmer which tries to make the food remain as hot as it can be for an extended time. they also have a standby warmer which can be used to warm the food after a customer has made an order.

The drinks are put inside a refrigerator. Since there are so many drinks, then there are a lot of refrigerators that can handle the drinks. The drinks are always cool 24/7 anytime you visit there, but you can also make an order for warm beverages.

Their services are direct, as you enter into the eatery, the first thing you see is the sales point where you order anything you want and they readily give it to you, except if what you ordered is not available at the moment, after that you pay. You can either pay with cash, or you can use the P.o.S to make your payments.

The building is a story building with a ground floor and an upstairs. The ground floor is composed mainly of the sales point, a section where customers can sit down, and a small section where customers can take photos from a photographer with a professional camera.

While the floor (upstairs) is filled with chairs where customers can go an eat in case the ground floor is filled up or is too rowdy. Actually, the floor is cozier and quieter because fewer people are always there.

The theme of the eatery is lemon green with brown. this is the color used to paint the walls. Then the chairs are also made of such color and there are also wooden chairs.

The environment is very cozy and quiet especially when there are fewer people. There's a fine array of light that is put in different covers with some green and some brown. All these together make the eatery give a warm feel. There are also air conditioners and televisions which customers can use to relax while eating their food.
