Economic Activities Diary Game: Buying Food Items Inside the Market [9-12-2022]

Greetings to you, friend. Today being December 9, 2022, I spent my day at the market buying some food items at Kpiri-Kpiri market in Abakaliki. Earlier this morning, when I woke up, I quickly prayed and studied my Bible for a while before I then stepped out to my room and did some house chores, where I then rested before going to the closest market. I left my apartment and went to the market at exactly 11:05 a.m.

As I reached the market, I saw how busy it was since everyone was looking for Christmas money and buying things ahead of time.

People who came to the market were busy going about their businesses. As I stepped inside the market, the first place that I went to was where they were selling beans. As I got to the place, I saw how an elderly woman was measuring beans for a buyer, which then made me stop at her place. I bought one paint rubber of beans from the woman at a cost of 2000 NGN (15 steem).

After buying the beans from the woman, I went to the seller next to her and bought rice at a cost of 3,700 NGN (19 steem). Honestly, the prices of goods here in my place are increasing every day, even for local products that are produced in the state.

After buying rice and beans I left the place and on my way heading to where I woul buy others things, I came across a seller that pushing his goods on a wheelbarrow, which I then stopped and bought detergents (400 NGN, or 3.4 STEEM) and Close-up (450 closeor 3.5 STEEM) from the seller.

At the market I almost walked around the entire market looking for pineapple, which I didn't see at the end of the day. At the market, I bought several times like groundnuts (900NGN, 10 STEEM), salt (0.8 STEEM), and other food stuff before I left the market for my apartment.
