How to find your positive motivation in Steemit

Steemit is not just a platform where one earns money; it is also a platform where one can learn a lot, which is the sweetest part of Steemit. Friend, in this post, I have shared the reasons and motivations behind my decision to join the Steemit platform.

Please explain the reasons and motivations behind your decision to join the Steemit platform.

Before I got to know about the Steemit platform, I was working as a content writer on two centralized platforms, OperaNews Hub and Scooper News, and I was looking for a way to expand my career in blogging. I was so passionate to have a website of my own so I could teach people things that could be of help to them, which is one of the reasons I decided to join Steemit after knowing that it is a social media platform where bloggers have the full right to their information.

Another reason behind my decision to join the Steemit platform is that it is a decentralized platform that pays users via Steem Token, Steem Dollar, and Tron. Being a decentralized platform, I joined the Steemit platform so I could get to know more about cryptocurrency and blockchain technology, which I have gained vast knowledge of today.

Also, I joined the Steemit platform so I could make friends with people outside of Nigeria. Having international friends is the goal here. Having friends that are outside Nigeria is something that usually makes me log in to Facebook most of the time, which is why joining Steemit has exposed me to different people across the globe.

Tell us about a special moment when you felt inspired and motivated in the Steemit environment. What motivates you to continue working?

At first, when I joined the Steemit platform, I felt like leaving since I didn't have anyone to guide me. I joined the Steemit platform by myself without receiving mentorship from anyone. At some point, I faded up, but I got motivated after reading through the posts of these three users: @cryptokannon, @sapwood, and @beautychicks.

The users whose names are mentioned above are the people who inspired and motivated me to contain myself in the Steemit environment, and I will never forget them. Their posts are perfect and great to me, and I do get motivated by their work. One of the things that make me want to continue working on the Steemit platform is the knowledge I gain from the things I learn each time I read through other users' posts and the work of the moderator and community curator, which exposes someone to other things.

Tell us about the obstacles you have faced in your journey on Steemit and share how you managed to overcome them with an optimistic attitude.

In life, we are bond to face obstacles, which I believe is part of what makes someone strong enough. At first, when I joined the Steemit platform, posting and the use of markdown tools were my major obstacles, but now that I am on the platform, I have faced some untruthful allegations concerning my posts and my genuine contribution to the Steemit platform.

I faced the issue of plagiarism, and AI content, and even the claim that I only supported users that I introduced to the Steemit platform, among many others. Currently, I am faced with the obstacle of not getting support.

Is there a particular user or type of content on Steemit that always inspires you? Please share these sources of inspiration.

As of the time, when the three users whom I mentioned were still active on the Steemit platform, their content on Steemit was the content that always inspired me, but now I do get inspired by diary games, finance, crypto, and blockchain-related content, which I do get inspired by reading @kouba01 and @sailawana contents.

My experience on Steemit has helped me develop my writing, communication, and computer skills. Aside from that, I've been financially developing myself and hope to continue doing so. My hopes and aspirations regarding Steemit roles in the future are to see the price of Steem around $1 above so I can have good money to invest in physical assets and to become a whale so I can support users with upvotes and many more.
