Hello friend, You are welcome to my post, and I am so delighted to have you here, just as I feel so happy to take part in the contest that is organized by @f2i5 in Steem Entrepreneurs community. Without wasting your precious time, let's take a look at my entry below.

This is a very nice question that needs a very detailed and clear answer as to why I do power-ups. Steemit is a great platform that has two types of people: the authors (writers) and the curators (investors). The authors are the minnows that do write in the hopes of getting upvotes from the investors, who are seen as the whales on Steemit.

It is everyone's desire to be at the top, just as those investors with large amounts of STEEM power are. To that end, the only way that I can get to the level of a whale on this great platform is by powering up my earnings or buying more Steem to power up. Having a large amount of Steem power would benefit me a lot more than someone who doesn't because I will have more influence over post payout, which means my curation rewards will be greater than those of a user with lower Steem power.

Now before I start giving the reason I do power-ups, I will like us to take a look at this simple analysis. On Steemit, users whose accounts have 500 SP or more only make up 1% of all Steem wallets. This means if you power up to 500 SP or more, you will be placed in the top 1% of holders of STEEM power. This simply means that becoming a minnow will only give you a voting slider on this great platform, Steemit. This is a milestone for many of us, which means if I want to grow, I need to power up so as to increase the value of my voting.

Having said all this in summary, these are the important reasons as to why I do power-ups.

• I do Power Ups because it's my future investment.

• I do power-ups to show other Steemians that I have a long-term intention and am more confident in STEEM.

• I use power-ups to increase the value of my vote.

• I do power-ups to increase my stake in witness voting.

• I do power to earn part of the newly created Steem every day, which is currently 2.94% of my Steem power.

• Powering up my Steem makes it a scarcer resource, which in turn increases the price of Steem.

• I do power-ups so I can delegate to communities or users that can give me weekly rewards both in upvotes and liquid Steem, etc.

Yes, I am optimistic about the future of Steem. I am very optimistic that Steem is going to be one of the most useful cryptocurrencies as long as blockchain is concerned. The future of STEEM is very bright, and in the future, a lot of us will be using STEEM for transactions in such a way that you can walk into a shop, buy things, and make payments using STEEM. This is starting among Steemians, where you can walk to a store that is owned by a Steemian and make payments with STEEM.

Well, from the information I got from https://www.steemcryptic.me//club5050 During 2022, as from 1 January 2022 to 29 December 2022, I empowered 1976.36 STEEM and transferred out 998.057 STEEM. More details about this STEEM empowerment during 2022 are shown in the screenshot below.

I am targeting 20K in Steem Power in 2023. By the grace of God, I have planned to be very active in posting, building up my Steem Power, and investing in STEEM in 2023. My target in 2023 is to celebrate at least five dolphins.
