It's a privilege to share my participation in the contest organised by @sailawana on the topic which says Helping With Steem : How I used Steem to touch lives. Every Steemian must have helped in one way or the other.

1. Have you ever personally done charity work using the STEEM currency you earned from your post rewards? If so, please specify the type of activity and who the beneficiary was.

Yes, in so many occasions I have done some charity work with the Steem rewards I earn here on the Steemit platform. Since I became a Steemian, I have always try to support my family and friends with the little money I earn on the platform.

Just recently, a friend of mine who was in a dare need came to me and pleaded that he needs money to travel for an interview. I wasn't having anything with me at that time so I decided to withdraw some Steem and sell and I gave him the money which was about $3.

He was so happy because he taught that he will miss the interview due to finance but Steem token through the Steemit platform has made me render an assistant to him. This is one among the many people I have use the money I earn in Steem to help.

2. Have you ever donated STEEM to a charity account in a particular community? Have you ever participated in the distribution of social assistance?Please tell us with your own words

Yes, I usually donate account to charity accounts here on Steemit to help reach others around the world. As you know there are many charity accounts currently on Steemit and I always support as many as possible especially those that I always see the work they do by posting their activities on the platform.

There are two major community which I usually support when it comes to charity and that is the Steem for better life community (@worldsmile) and the Steem Entrepreneurs with the account (@steempreneurship).

The both communities always give an update as to how they use the money donated to them through liquid Steem or beneficiary rewards to help users in the platform and that is why I always ensure I support them when I'm writing on their communities.

3. Tell us also how you feel when doing charity activities using STEEM, sharing with others in need

I feel so happy and excited whenever I do charity work with Steem especially when I see that they work is bearing fruits. There are many people who are sick and need money for drugs and if you can be able to help and provide that for them then you have successfully touched a life.

When you are able to remove someone from the pains he or she is facing using the reward you earn here on Steem, you will know that you have done your part so well as a Steemian and you will be so excited. I saw once where people donate Steem to others to help them in times of need such as sickness and other outbreak.

When I see this I'm always moved to do my part as well and when I do this, I feel so happy because I have also touched a soul even if I don't see the person.
