❤️ Rangpur Bus Terminal❤️

This central bus terminal was built in 1981 under the supervision of Rangpur Municipality. It was financed by the Rajshahi Division Development Committee. Even though ages have passed, there has been no development in this bus terminal of Rangpur district till 2017. In this, the terminal full of tears and ditches with little rain was a cause of extreme suffering and suffering for the transporters. It was difficult for passengers to get on and off. The transports were forced to occupy the road. After a long time, the construction of modern central bus terminal started in 2018 to remove those difficulties.

According to sources in the engineering branch of Rasik, the project was started at a cost of 25 crore 81 lakh 77 thousand 330 taka with the financing of JICA and GOB, but it is ending at about 31 crore taka. The construction of the state-of-the-art Rangpur Central Bus Terminal started on October 17, 2018. The main building of the newly constructed Rangpur Central Bus Terminal with an area of ​​29 thousand 645 square feet has workshops, driver and conductor refreshments and adequate parking facilities.

In addition, the ground floor houses 14 ticket counters, three ATM booths, women's prayer rooms, a day-care center, six eateries, a drug store, two public toilets, passenger seating and a luggage area. The second floor of the building has a state-of-the-art quality food hotel, children's play room, seven shops, state-of-the-art traffic department, control room, technical department, administrative department, state-of-the-art meeting room, a public toilet, VIP lounge and VIP room.

Regarding the preparations for the inauguration of Rangpur Central Bus Terminal, Mayor of Rangpur City Corporation Mostafizar Rahman Mostafa said that the initiative was taken to build Rangpur Central Bus Terminal to ensure all modern facilities keeping in mind the improvement of service quality by removing the inconvenience of passengers along with removing the traffic jam on the highway. It is now awaiting inauguration. The scenic and state-of-the-art Rangpur Central Bus Terminal is slated to be inaugurated in September. A letter has already been given to the local government minister twice. It is hoped that the official opening of the terminal will be possible on a convenient day next month.

A lot of trouble has to be faced. Demolishing the previous 74 constructions and building a new modern bus terminal was challenging. We have completed the construction of this bus terminal after overcoming complications and difficulties. There is currently ample parking space. Ticket Counter, ATM Booth, Women's Prayer House, Day Care Center, Food, Drug Store, Public Toilet, Passenger Service Area, Children Entertainment Center, Luggage Area, Shopping Mall, Traffic Department, Control Room, VIP Room, Technical, Administrative Department, Meeting Room City authorities have their own security forces.
